What Leafwatt does
Prices of large appliances differ by tens of euros between shops and from week to week, and almost every model has a successor or a version that is just a little different. Leafwatt puts the prices side by side. Every model has one page with all its versions: colour and finish, each with its own EAN code or the manufacturer’s model number.
A price belongs to exactly one version: we never compare an 8 kg washing machine with the 9 kg one of the same series, or a freestanding fridge with its built-in version. We only show shop prices once we have checked them per exact version; when the version is not clear, we show no price rather than guess.
Independent
Leafwatt doesn’t sell anything and isn’t affiliated with the brands on this site. We use brand names to describe what is in the catalogue, not to suggest a partnership.
If Leafwatt later earns money from links to shops or from advertising, this will be stated clearly next to the link or placement concerned. The order of products and prices is not for sale.
Not a test lab
We do not test appliances ourselves. We show what the manufacturer states, such as the energy class, the use in kWh, the capacity or load and the noise level. What an appliance costs you per year also depends on how often you use it and what you pay for electricity; we are honest about that.
