Prices from the shops we compare. Nobody pays for a place. How we rank

How we calculate

The price per kWh is today's lowest price divided by the capacity in the product name. We compare it with the middle (the median) of the group, so you see which batteries are cheap or expensive for their storage.

Makers state the total capacity. The Consumentenbond calculates with the usable capacity, because you can never use all of it; that is a little smaller, so the real price per usable kWh is somewhat higher than here.

A low price per kWh says nothing about the power (how many watts it delivers), control through your P1 meter, the warranty or backup power. So compare those too. Batteries without a known capacity are left out.
